Summary
Sgt. Jack Driscoll had to leave Dublin fast when his affair with a senior officer's wife was discovered. But Jack's father, Gerry, comes to his son's aid. Recently retired from his post as Garda Sergeant in a small Connemara town, Gerry manages to 'swing it' so that Jack inherits the job. Jack's now on his own, in charge of hundreds of square miles of remote, beautiful rural Ireland.
