Published Reviews
Booklist Review: "Eschewing any sense of story for page after page of bullet points may sound dry, but this title from the Point it Out! Tips for Green Living series makes up for it with an impressive variety of ecotips and fun, digitally created illustrations. An opening spread reveals a cutaway of a school, featuring nine spaces that we'll soon visit: classrooms, the restroom, the library, the cafeteria, and so on. Each scene gets a two-page spread in which beaming students go about their days, while two different sorts of boxes (Oh, No! and Way to Go!) react to their actions. Johnson fails to provide a compelling overarching reason to go green, and some tips are a little fringe do volleyball nets get thrown away so often that we need reminders to repair them instead? Mostly, though, these are great, creative reminders, covering the basics while working in some robust ask your teachers ideas, too, like the installation of task lighting and movement sensors. Good ammo for any budding activist.--Kraus, Daniel Copyright 2010 Booklist"
