Summary
From the author of Awakenings comes a heartwarming tale of a father and son, who find a connection through the music that embodied the generation gap of the 1960s. An unforgettable soundtrack features the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Crosby Stills and Nash, and many more.
Nearly twenty years after a heated argument between Henry and his son Gabriel, he learns that his estranged son has been found wandering the streets in a daze. Gabriel is diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury that leaves him thinijg he's still in 1968 and in the midst of Vietnam, acid tests and psychedelic music. With the help of a music therapist, Gabriel is able to express himself through the artists that defined the sixties generation.
