Summary

Robyn's new substitute teacher Ms. Denholm is cool, pretty, and possibly the target of a stalker. When Denholm receives a threatening package, Robyn wonders who's responsible. But Robyn has a mystery of her own to worry about. What's with the muddled phone message she receives from her missing ex-boyfriend Nick? Should she try to forget him--or is the call a sign he still cares?

Published Reviews
Booklist Review: "In teen sleuth Robyn Hunter's fifth caper, a favorite new teacher becomes a stalker's target or does she? Building suspense and folding in puzzlingly ambiguous clues, information about typical stalker behavior, and burgeoning romantic complications for Robyn and her divorced mother, McClintock brings her tale to a violent but not fatal climax capped by a baroque yet credible twist. Readers who prefer their mysteries spun around affairs of the heart and finished off with a neat package of confessions and explications will enjoy this latest episode and look forward to the next.--Peters, John Copyright 2010 Booklist"
